The Story Behind The Piece

Burberrys vintage Nova Check, clutch or shoulder bag: the two-in-one with a gold button.

This pre-loved Burberrys vintage clutch doubles as a shoulder bag with its removable strap.

The rectangular body is in black Nova Check with a leather flap and shoulder strap, accented by a round gold-tone button stamped "Burberrys". A large compartment pocket sits at the back; the flap opens to the main compartment and a zip pocket on one side, with buttons inside the flap to fasten the strap.

In great vintage condition, with the interior clean and no tears, and the zip and button working. The only signs of use are faint scratches on the leather flap and a bottom corner rub.

The black Nova Check is more discreet than the classic beige, and the Burberrys stamp dates it to the house's earlier chapter.
