Clear Policies. Considered Service.
We want you to feel confident when purchasing from Luxury Revamped.
Every piece is individually described, photographed and condition-assessed before being offered for sale. Because our collection consists primarily of pre-loved and often one-of-a-kind pieces, we encourage you to review the available information carefully before making your purchase.
If you need additional information about a piece, please contact us before completing your order. We are always happy to help you make a considered decision.
This policy operates alongside, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Before You Purchase
We encourage you to review:
Read the complete description, including materials, measurements, inclusions and other relevant details.
Our condition descriptions identify signs of previous ownership, wear and vintage character. Characteristics that are clearly disclosed in the listing are considered part of the individual character of the piece.
Review all available photographs carefully. If you would like clarification or additional information where available, please contact us before purchasing.
If you’re unsure about anything, ask us before you purchase. We would rather help you make an informed decision than have you purchase a piece that isn’t right for you.
Change Of Mind
Because our pieces are pre-loved, individually sourced and often unique, we do not generally accept returns simply because you have changed your mind, selected a different style or colour, or no longer wish to keep the piece.
This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
Return window. Where a return is accepted, for example because a piece is not as described or arrives damaged, it must be requested within 7 days of the date you receive your piece, and the piece must be returned in the same condition in which you received it. Returns for change of mind are not accepted.
If Your Piece Is Not As Described
We take accuracy seriously.
If your piece arrives and you believe there is a material difference between the item received and its description or photographs, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will assess the matter and work with you to determine an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable New Zealand consumer law.
If Your Piece Arrives Damaged
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.
If your item has been damaged in transit or arrives in a condition materially different from that described, contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the item and packaging.
We will assess the circumstances and advise you of the appropriate next steps.
Refunds
Once we receive and assess a returned item, we will confirm by email whether the return has been accepted and advise you of the applicable resolution.
Where a refund is appropriate, it will generally be made to the original method of payment, including where payment was made by credit card, Afterpay or another supported payment provider.
The method and amount of any refund will depend on the circumstances and applicable New Zealand consumer law.
Where a piece is proven to be inauthentic, a full refund of the purchase price applies, as set out in our Authenticity Policy. Original outbound shipping is not included in the refund.
Where a return is accepted on a discretionary basis, rather than because of a statutory right, any applicable original shipping, return shipping or payment processing costs may be deducted where permitted and agreed.
Refunds arising from a failure of the guarantees or protections provided under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will be handled in accordance with the Act.
Exchanges
Because our collection consists largely of unique pre-loved pieces, we cannot generally offer exchanges simply because of a change of mind.
Where an item is found to have a material undisclosed defect, damage or other issue, we will assess the circumstances and advise whether an exchange or another appropriate remedy is available.
Any exchange is subject to availability.
Gifts
If an item was purchased as a gift and an approved return is eligible for a gift-related resolution, we may provide the recipient with a gift credit where appropriate.
Where a refund is required to be made to the original purchaser, it will be returned using the original payment method, subject to applicable consumer law.
Returning An Item
Please contact Luxury Revamped before sending any item back.
We will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address once your return has been assessed and approved.
Unless otherwise required under applicable New Zealand consumer law:
- return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility;
- original shipping costs are non-refundable; and
- return shipping costs may be deducted from an approved refund where permitted.
For high-value luxury pieces, we strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.
Luxury Revamped cannot accept responsibility for an item that is lost or damaged while being returned without appropriate tracking or insurance.
Reserve Edit Purchases
The Reserve Edit has separate terms because these pieces are brought to New Zealand specifically at a customer’s request.
Once availability has been confirmed and the required security deposit has been paid, the piece is requested and shipped specifically for that customer.
The security deposit is therefore non-refundable in the event of a change of mind, subject to applicable New Zealand consumer law.
Reserve Edit pieces undergo Luxury Revamped’s in-house authentication and quality review after arriving in New Zealand and before the remaining balance is requested.

Every pre-loved piece has a history.
Natural variations in leather, patina, texture, hardware and other signs of previous ownership can form part of the character that makes a pre-loved piece distinctive.
Where these characteristics are accurately described and shown in the listing, they are considered part of the piece’s disclosed condition rather than a defect.
We believe transparency is part of the luxury experience. You should know the condition and character of a piece before deciding to make it yours.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any rights or remedies you may have under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 remain unaffected.
If you have a question about your rights or how this policy applies to your circumstances, please contact us.
