Elegant, feminine and instantly recognisable, the Gucci Sylvie Small Shoulder Bag blends the house's equestrian heritage with modern Italian craftsmanship. Its signature gold-tone chain and buckle closure is inspired by vintage horse tack.
Cut in smooth black leather, the compact structure carries everyday essentials while keeping a polished profile. It can be worn with the adjustable leather shoulder strap, or changed with the detachable blue and red Gucci Web ribbon strap for a more distinctive look.
Introduced in Alessandro Michele's Spring/Summer 2016 collection, the Sylvie is now discontinued, and complete examples with both the leather strap and the Web ribbon are increasingly sought after.
Presented in excellent pre-owned condition: the lock hardware still retains its original protective sticker, with only a small pressure mark beneath the front flap from the hardware when closed.
Because some designs define an era of a house, and the Sylvie is one of Gucci's.
The two straps give it two personalities, quiet in leather and fashion-forward in the Web ribbon, and the compact shape moves from tailoring to weekend dressing to evening.
