Founder, Curator & The Eye Behind Luxury Revamped.
Luxury Revamped began with a trip.
I was preparing to travel overseas and wanted to buy a beautiful travel bag and a personal bag — something special to commemorate a journey I had worked hard for. But I was also being mindful of what I was spending on the trip, and buying brand-new designer pieces didn’t quite make sense.
That’s when I began looking more closely at the world of pre-loved luxury. At the time, I realised I didn’t know where to find reputable, established and trustworthy pre-loved luxury in New Zealand. And I wondered if other people were looking for the same thing.
That question stayed with me. So I decided to create it.
I started humbly, selling some of my own treasured designer pieces to fund the beginnings of my first collection. Luxury Revamped began on Facebook, Marketplace and Trade Me — long before there was a website or a carefully curated online collection. What began as a personal idea gradually became something much bigger.
I’ve always believed that beautiful things don’t need to be brand new to be valuable. A well-made luxury piece can have a life beyond its first owner. It can develop character, move through different wardrobes and continue to be appreciated for generations. That’s what draws me to pre-loved luxury.
I love exceptional leather, beautiful construction, timeless silhouettes and pieces that can be worn in more ways than one. I’m drawn to quality and condition, but also to those pieces that simply catch my eye — something about the shape, material, detail or craftsmanship makes me stop.
When I’m deciding whether a piece belongs in the collection, I often ask myself:
Would I want this in my own wardrobe?
If the answer is yes, it has my attention.
I believe luxury should be intentional. There is something rewarding about saving for a piece you genuinely want, choosing carefully and knowing that it will earn its place in your wardrobe.
