Authenticity Policy

Our Commitment to Authenticity

At Luxury Revamped, authenticity is our highest priority. We are committed to offering only genuine luxury designer items and take extensive measures to verify the authenticity of every product we sell.

All items offered for sale are sourced exclusively from registered and reputable suppliers and trusted second-hand luxury goods traders. These suppliers operate established authentication processes and employ dedicated in-house teams of expert authenticators who carry out rigorous, multi-step verification checks before items are supplied to us.

In addition, each item is personally inspected upon arrival to ensure it meets our strict standards for quality and authenticity.

Authenticity Guarantee

We guarantee that all items sold by Luxury Revamped are authentic. In the unlikely event that an item is proven to be inauthentic, we will honour our guarantee and provide a refund in accordance with our Refunds & Returns Policy and our obligations under New Zealand consumer law.

How Authenticity Is Determined

Authenticity is a factual determination and must be assessed based on objective evidence.

Claims of inauthenticity must be supported by verification from a recognised independent third-party authentication service. Personal belief, opinion, online comparisons, or informal assessments are not sufficient on their own to establish that an item is not authentic.

Where an authenticity concern is raised, we may request reasonable information or documentation to assess the claim before determining the appropriate outcome.

Third-Party Authentication

Customers are welcome to obtain an independent authentication assessment at their discretion. If an item is confirmed to be inauthentic by a recognised third-party authenticator, we will honour our authenticity guarantee and arrange a refund.

Authentication services must be independent, reputable, and experienced in assessing luxury designer goods relevant to the brand and item in question.

Handling of Items During Authentication

Items subject to authentication claims must be handled with reasonable care and must not be altered, used, or damaged after delivery. Any alteration, wear, or damage that affects the condition or value of the item may impact the available remedy.

Relationship to Consumer Law

This Authenticity Policy operates alongside, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
